내일 내일 하기에

내일은 언제냐고 물었더니

People kept talking about tomorrow

So I asked them what it is.

 

밤이 지나고 동틀 때가

내일이라고 말한다.

They told me that tomorrow will be

When night is gone and dawn comes.

 

새 날을 찾던 나는

잠을 자고 일어나보니.

Anxiously waiting for a new day,

I slept through the night and woke up to learn

 

그때는 내일이 아니라

오늘이더라.

That tomorrow was no more

It was another today.

 

동무여!

내일은 없나니.
